Welcome to the Danesfield PTA
Every parent is automatically a member of the PTA.
Together, we make school life even better for our children.
What we do
We organize fun events for children and families - hot dog lunches, cake sales, Easter egg hunts, quiz nights, summer festivals, Christmas fairs, and more. All to raise vital funds for Danesfield School.
Why it matters
Like many schools, Danesfield doesn’t have the funding it needs. PTA fundraising helps provide essential resources - from books and IT equipment to classroom refurbishments and teacher training.
What we've already funded
Thanks to your support, we’ve helped fund:
The science building; Lunch hall refurbishment; Astroturf & outdoor classroom; New reading books & educational schemes; Music equipment & IT upgrades and much more! Most recently, the PTA have funded half of the new KS2 playground and year six digital teaching screens.
How it works
Everything is run by parent volunteers.
There’s no fixed team - anyone can help organize or support an event. Got an idea? Want to get involved? We’d love to hear from you: pta@danesfieldschool.co.uk
Committee & class reps
A small committee handles admin, and each class has a rep to help spread the word and organize socials. Find your rep or message the team via https://www.classlist.com.
A small group of people do the overall PTA administration. Let us know if you’d like to join. Details of the current committee members can be found on Classlist (see below)

Shop & support
Raise money while you shop online.
EasyFundraising: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk
- You shop online at major retailers like Amazon, John Lewis, eBay, and hundreds more.
- Instead of going directly to the retailer’s site, you first visit EasyFundraising and click through to the retailer from there.
- The retailer then gives a small percentage of your purchase back to Danesfield School as a donation - at no extra cost to you.
Give as You Live: https://www.giveasyoulive.com
- Similar to EasyFundraising, you shop online via the Give as You Live platform.
- You can also raise funds through gift cards, travel bookings, and direct donations.
- A percentage of your spend is donated to Danesfield School.
- You can set up a fundraising page for events (like a sponsored walk or bake sale).
- It offers downloadable tools to help promote your cause.
