After School Clubs

We will be offering a number of after school activities for the autumn term, with details below.  The Den wraparound care is running as usual - please see the relevant section for more details.  

Eco Schools and the Gardening Club

Danesfield School is an Eco School.  As part of our commitment to the environment and to living well, we also run a Gardening Club during lunchtimes.  

Our Gardening Club is run on a voluntary basis and meets once a week.  They have set up a ‘bug hotel’ and are growing some fantastic vegetables.

The Gardening Club would greatly appreciate donations to keep the club going.  It does not have to be money; you may be able to donate plants, seeds or gardening equipment. Also, if you are a keen gardener, and can spare some time to support our young gardeners, please contact the school office. 

Music Lessons

Music is a source of great enjoyment and learning at Danesfield.  All children have whole class lessons in African drumming, and enjoy singing in class or in the choir (from Y3). We also have qualified music teachers come into school to offer individual or small group music lessons to our KS2 children.  If you are interested in individual/small group lessons for your child, please contact the appropriate provider:
